Amy, Registered Dental Hygienist

Amy graduated from the University of Maine at Augusta with her Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene. She has a passion for all things dental hygiene including educating patients about developing healthy habits to maintain oral health. In her free time, she enjoys traveling as much as possible, boating, and hiking with her husband, Patrick, and their German Shorthaired Pointer, Waylon.

Stephanie – Registered Dental Hygienist


Stephanie started in the field of dentistry as a dental assistant in 1999. After working as an assistant for several years, she enrolled in the dental hygiene program at the University of Maine where she received her degree in dental hygiene. She is certified in CPR and takes more than 20 hours of continuing education per year. Stephanie enjoys sharing her extensive knowledge of the relationships of gum health and overall health, and helping patients develop and maintain good oral health routines. Stephanie is an avid camper and a vintage camper enthusiast.  She enjoys spending time with her husband Travis and daughter Ashli, and grandson Nico.

Tammie – Dental Assistant


Tammie has been a dental assistant at this practice for over 20 years. She loves helping our patients improve their smiles and educating them in all dentistry has to offer. Tammie has a naturally calming demeanor that quickly puts patients at ease.  She’s a constant learner and a highly experienced dental assistant. Tammie enjoys gardening, cooking and hiking with her husband, Gary, and has two adult children, Ryan and Kaylee.

Carolyne, Certified Dental Assistant with Extended Function

Carolyne has been a dental assistant since 2012 and earned the title, certified dental assistant by successfully completing the dental assistant national board in 2015.  She is certified as a Dental Assistant with Extended Functions meaning she has the training, knowledge and ability to place fillings and sealants, along with many other advanced procedures. Carolyne has a fun and friendly personality that her patients really enjoy.  Carolyne and her husband Ethan have two children; Wyott and Mackenzie. They, as a family, love to spend quality time together while fishing and hiking.

Jessica, Financial/Insurance Coordinator

Jessica has been in the dental field for over 10 years. She started her dental career as a dental assistant receiving her CPR certification and dental radiology license in 2010. Her clinical and leadership skills led her to be a successful office manager for five years prior to joining Augusta Dental. Jessica’s understanding of both the clinical and administrative sides of dentistry gives her the unique ability to answer many questions a patient may have, providing a great service and experience for our patients. Jessica and her husband Joshua love spending time hunting, ice fishing, and camping together with their chocolate lab Mossy.

Alexis, Front Office Coordinator

Alexis (Lexi) graduated from the University of Maine Augusta in 2014 as a Certified Dental Assistant.   She is CPR certified and maintains her dental radiology license. Lexi has seven years of dental assisting experience.  Since joining our Augusta Dental team, Lexi has moved to the front desk where she is our Scheduling Coordinator.  Her clinical experience and knowledge, coupled with her friendly personality, is extremely beneficial to our patients as they enter or call the office with scheduling and treatment questions.   She is a mother to her three beautiful girls. She enjoys camping, hiking, fishing, as well as chasing sunsets.

Stephanie, Scheduling Coordinator

Stephanie is a native of San Antonio, Texas and joined the U.S. Air Force in 1996. She retired after 20 years of honorable service and was stationed all over the world including England, Italy, Germany, Netherlands, Kyrgyzstan, South Korea, Qatar, and Afghanistan. After she retired, she finished her Graduate degree in Psychology at Ashford University in San Diego, California in 2018. Stephanie entered the Social Services workforce in an acute psychiatric facility then as a social worker for homeless veterans, and finally as a residential group home senior support staff. She is a Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA), Full Mental Health and Rehabilitation Technician-1 (MHRT-1) and certified in CPR and First Aid. Stephanie moved to Maine in November 2020 and joined the team at Augusta Dental in 2022 as Patient Scheduling Coordinator. She, and her husband Jayson, have two adult children, Jakob and Aries. Stephanie and Jayson love the great outdoors and enjoy ice fishing, hunting, and camping with their four dogs.
