Dr. Nicholas Herz grew up in a small town in West Tennessee, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. During that time, he worked as an analytical chemist, which strengthened his attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and appreciation for precision in his work. He later moved to Maine, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of New England College of Dental Medicine.
He takes great pride in providing thoughtful, patient centered care and strives to create a comfortable environment where patients feel heard, understood, and confident in their treatment. He looks forward to building lasting relationships and serving the Augusta community.
In his free time, he enjoys fly fishing, photography, and exploring the Maine coast, especially visiting lighthouses and spending time outdoors whenever he can
