Dr. Ahern, a New York native, is excited to return to Maine and join Augusta Dental. Upon finishing her undergraduate degree at Loyola University in Baltimore, Maryland, Dr. Ahern continued her education at the University of New England College of Dental Medicine here in Maine. She graduated in 2018 with her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree. Following graduation, Dr. Ahern practiced in southern Rhode Island for four years, during which time she received the Rhode Island Monthly Magazine “Top Dentist” award through nomination by her peers. Dr. Ahern now returns to Maine with her husband, two children and two dogs.
Dr. Ahern is a member of the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. She is a strong believer in the value of continuing education and regularly attends seminars at the Kois Center in Seattle, a world renown evidence-based teaching center, that teaches the latest advances in esthetics, implants and restorative dentistry. Dr. Ahern’s dental interests include combining her passion for esthetics with dental medicine and hopes to help all of her patients fall in love with their smiles.
Outside of the office Dr. Ahern enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and exploring new places. Her hobbies include cooking, health and fitness, running, and photography.
